Trauma Simulation Makeup Application Skills Course
Hands-on training in trauma moulage and medical simulation. The two-day Application Skills course is CPD certified and independently assessed by The CPD Certification Service.
Two-day programme
Application Skills Course
Day one covers the fundamentals of moulage, including cuts, grazes, bruising and minor burns. Day two moves on to blast injuries, gunshot wound trauma, burns in depth, and lacerations with embedded foreign objects.
Either day of the course also runs on its own, without CPD credits.

Introduction to Trauma Makeup
Foundation moulage technique, from first application through to safe removal.
- Colour theory for bruising and burns
- Skin tone adaptation for inclusive practice
- Safe application and removal
- All materials and equipment provided

Intermediate Trauma Makeup
Intermediate Trauma Makeup
Advanced technique for high-fidelity trauma in major incident and multi-casualty exercises.
- Blast and gunshot wounds in silicone
- Entry and exit wounds with tissue response
- Lacerations with embedded objects
- Repeatable wounds at multi-casualty scale
Also runs on its own from £220 + VAT (£264 including VAT).
