SM1 is Day one of the SIMFX® Makeup course. The course is open to anyone with little/no experience and explores the fundamentals and practical skills for medical simulation makeup.

SM2 is day two of the SIMFX® Makeup course during which we explore theory, techniques and products used to create major trauma and injury for training.
The SAT course introduces advanced makeup & silicone-based techniques including patterned injuries, compound fractures, wound eviceration, severe burns and more.
Our Medical Simulation Makeup two-part practical workshop is accredited for CPD, enabling us to We provide certificates of completion for up to 14 credits toward your continuing professional development.your CV.

Register Your InterestJody is Lead MUA and Artistic Director of SIMFX® LTD. and is responsible for all training and scenario delivery.
She has over a decade of experience in training and working with industry-leaders in Trauma Makeup and Simulation and has worked extensively in Military, Law Enforcement, Emergency Response, Surgical and Aviation scenarios.
Andy is an Airline Pilot, Simulator Instructor and Technical Director of SIMFX® LTD. He is primarliy responsible for integration of Human Factors concepts throughout our training delivery and materials.
He has over two decades of flight training and Crew Resource Management (CRM) experience with large commercial passenger carriers on both Airbus and Boeing aeroplane types.
We provide trauma makeup services (also known as moulage) and scenario consultancy to immerse your trainees fully "in theatre" at your training location.
In-person scenarios are essential for maximum training impact. We use makeup to intelligently re-create trauma, support our clients' training programmes and prepare staff for the realities of their duties.
We have experience working in a wide range of operational environments including civil, military, medical and aviation scenarios.
